High school sweethearts, Cameryn and Jacob’s story began at the end of senior year when Jacob asked her to winter formal—both stepping into their first relationship with a sweetness that felt instantly cinematic. Their connection deepened quickly and effortlessly, the kind of steady, loyal love that carried them through some of their most formative years together.

One of the most meaningful parts of photographing their wedding was the friendship that grew with Cam and Jacob throughout this season. I captured several of their friends’ weddings the same year, and by the time their day arrived, it truly felt like celebrating with people I care about. Because of that comfort and connection, we were able to get creative—my favorite idea being the wedding party dancing around them in the ballroom for a set of Bridgerton-inspired images that turned out to be some of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken. Their day was joyful, intentional, and so much fun to be a part of, and I’m grateful to have documented such a special chapter in their story.

Their celebration was intentional, joy-filled, and deeply reflective of the love they share—and being invited to preserve this chapter of their story was an honor I won’t forget.
